Gundown is a joint project between =
Vicewolf,
Sonic Sight, and my self. It will play like any other rail shooter, and will work on both Pc and the Nintendo Wii. There is still a lot that needs to be done, like stages, guns, characters, etc etc... Were not really sure when to have it done, we are only three man dev team after all, but we all have high hopes for Gundown. I would talk about a story line or something, but we do not have one at this point, just little things here and there.
I guess it's worth pointing out that this will be a flash game, so it will work on anything that can run flash.

Alis:
A young civilian finds herself in the midst of planetary chaos as all Robotic AI
(Construction, Police Squadrons, Military Machines etc)
suddenly go Rampant and mow down all beings not of artificial intelligence.
Fighting her way from the bottom of a mechanoid infested city,
she forces her way to the surface of the planet where she hopes to find rescue of some kind.
Luckily, all is not lost.
Upon finding a strange fire-arm,
Alis finds that she has an amazing knack for shooting.

Cev:
A lone wolf by nature and species,
Cev's goals are shady and vague.
What is known, is that he has had some hand in the recent Planetary AI Rampancy that is currently ailing a vastly diminishing world wide population.
Whether he is the one soley responsible, or hired out by higher powers behind the outbreak is unknown.
One goal of his is clear though...
the elimination of any opposing party to the PAR...
namely, Alis.

The Gun System:
There will be a large number of guns in Gundown, and so we developed a quick gun switch system. The player will have the ability to equip any 3 weapons from a equip window. The quick switch can be opened at any time during game play.
The Handguns or Pistols:


The most basic of the weapons. Light wight and quick reload times makes it good against light infantry.

The Machine guns:


Making up for lower attack power, the machine guns have much larger clips and firing rate. Make them ideal for mowing down large swarms of enemies.

The Rifles:

Having the highest attack power of all the gun types, the rifles are a good choice for picking off enemies at a distance. There greatest weakness is their small clips and long recoil times.

PC and Wii mode
Gundown will be able to be played on both the PC and Nintendo Wii. The option will be given on the opening screen.
PC mode:
This mode is for playing on a PC with the mouse and keys on the keyboard.
Wii mode:
This mode is played entirely with the Nintendo Wii mote.
